Mesa Verde

Spruce Tree House

We got up early to break camp and head towards Mesa Verde National Park.  I feared the place would be packed, since Durango seemed really busy for the 4th of July.  We arrived at 9:00am ahead of the crowd, and got tickets for an 11:30 tour of Cliff Palace.  We watched the movie at the Chapin Mesa museum and took a self-guided tour of Spruce Tree House.
